This policy explains how Pelham Pro Plumbing, 2969 Pelham Pkwy, Pelham, AL 35124, handles information when you visit this website or call our plumbing line. What we collect
When you call, we collect your phone number, the address where you need service, and the details you give us about the problem, such as the fixture, what you see and whether anything is flooding. We may also note your name and the best way to reach you during the visit.
When you visit the website, our host keeps basic logs. These can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you requested, and the date and time. We use them to keep the site running and to spot errors. We do not ask you to type anything into the site.
Call recording
Calls to our line may be recorded for quality and training purposes. If you do not want a call recorded, tell the dispatcher at the start of the call and they will tell you whether another way to proceed is available, or you can end the call. Recordings may contain anything said on the call, so please do not read out card numbers or other financial details unless a plumber asks for payment in person.
How we use what you tell us
We use call information to understand the problem, decide how urgent it is, send a licensed plumber to your address, and follow up if there is a question about the visit. We also use it to check that calls are handled well and to train the people who answer them.
We share your name, number, address and problem details with the plumber assigned to your job, because they cannot arrive without them. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect safety, such as in a gas or flooding emergency.
Cookies and similar technology
This site does not require cookies, sign-ins or accounts. Some pages, such as the Contact page and the town pages, show an embedded Google Map. That map is third-party content, and Google can set its own cookies or collect data, such as your IP address, when it loads, under Google's own policies. How long we keep information
We keep call details for as long as we need them to finish the job, answer questions about it and meet legal or insurance obligations. Server logs from our host are kept for a shorter period set by that host. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove identifying details where we can.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have on file for your phone number, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and we will respond where we are able. Children
This site and our phone line are meant for adults who own or manage property. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at the email address above and we will remove it.
Other websites
Our pages may link to outside sites, such as the Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board at pgfb.alabama.gov, and they embed Google Maps. Those sites and services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
